Learning, Earning, and Advancing Dreams (Project L.E.A.D.) is a new program we are launching this summer. This teen empowerment and employment program will help youth develop skills needed to succeed in life by focusing on mentorship, employment, and educational attainment.

On June 16th, we held an information session and workshop for teens looking for a paid summer internship at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County. Over 40 teens attended the workshop, led by our Asbury Park Unit Director Daniel Rivera and Program Director Alexis Gervasini. The two-hour interactive session provided career coaching and professional development training. The teenagers who exhibit the most promise and initiative will be offered youth development professional positions at the Club this summer.
