On April 2nd, our friends at Coastal Habitat for Humanity and Starbucks spent the day sprucing up the second floor of our Asbury Unit! It's no big surprise that these fine folks know their way around a paint brush. Thank you for spending the day with us!
Each month we invite our members' families to "Parent Engagement Night," where our kids get to proudly show off what they've been up to at the Club. Our Red Bank Unit recently organized an art show for the parents. These creative kids chose to focus on the themes of togetherness, diversity, positivity, and love.
From April 8th - April 12th we joined with hundreds of Clubs across the country to participate in National Boys & Girls Club Week, a time to celebrate both the local and collective impact of Clubs nationwide. Each day we focused on a different theme such as Equity & Inclusion, Career Readiness, and Safer Childhoods. [...]
Quashawn is 12 years old and has been a member at the Asbury Park Unit for four years. He is always volunteering to help our staff when they are organizing activities. Quashawn's nickname at the Club is "Mister" because he is so polite!
The Asbury Park & Red Bank Units will offer extended hours for Spring Break. From April 22-26 the Club will be open from 8am-4pm. The program is $75 for the week.
