What can you make with a bag full of random objects? Our 5th and 6th graders recently found out.

Each Club member received a “blind bag” filled with mystery items, and no one knew what was inside until they opened it. Their challenge was to turn those odds and ends into a brand-new product, then pitch their invention to their fellow Club members.

It took creativity to build something from nothing and confidence to stand up and sell the idea to a room full of peers. Along the way, students put their problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills to work, the kind of skills that serve them well in school and beyond.

Our favorite part was seeing how proud they were of what they created.
