May 4th was the inaugural Asbury Park Alive, an open-streets event promoting a healthy and unified Asbury Park. Featuring live music, kids activities, games, art installations, and health screenings, the event benefited from the enthusiastic participation of many local businesses, organizations, and community members. Our junior staff set up a table and invited event-goers to participate in high-yield learning activities–the “fun with a purpose” games we play with our kids at the Club. Thank you to the Alliance for a Healthier Asbury Park and the City of Asbury Park for organizing such a creative and fun community-building event!
