Our Club members at the College Achieve site enjoyed their first “STEAM in Our Community” presentation by Sujey Paz-Gonzalez, a local veterinarian. She engaged the K through 2nd-grade students in a fun and interactive presentation on how to care for their pets. She brought along her dog Freeda, and the students were invited to take turns listening to Freeda’s heartbeat and help with the demonstration.
