May is Mental Health Awareness Month, but we make sure we are focused on the emotional well-being of our kids year-round. At one of our school-based sites, our staff recently asked our members the following questions: “How do you want to feel when you are at the Boys & Girls Club?” “What can we do to feel these things?” and “What should we do if someone or something upsets us?” Our young people had a lot to say! We are so glad that we provide a safe place for young people to comfortably share their perspectives and goals.
