We are so excited to announce that our newest Clubhouse has opened in Long Branch! In early May, the Club began offering our after-school programs to children ages 5 to 13 at the Bucky James Community Center on Wilbur Ave.

Opening a facility in Long Branch was the direct result of both careful planning and close collaboration with Mayor John Pallone and Long Branch’s City Council and Recreation Department. The Club is so thankful for the opportunity to bring our proven, evidence-based, and nationally recognized programs to the Long Branch community. Funding for this newest site was made possible by the thoughtful support of Amazon, the Sharon Cruz Grantor Trust, and Monmouth Medical Center.

Interest in our Long Branch Unit was immediate. Enrollment has been full, and since our launch in the spring, the Club has gone on to offer a 7-week summer camp. In July, the Club also offered a football skills and drills training with current Rutgers University players, including quarterback Gavin Wimsatt and wide receiver Sean Ryan.

If you’re interested in touring the Club’s Long Branch facility (or any of the Club’s other locations), please call Ray Brush, Resource Development Director at 732-775-7862 ext. 12.
