Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County is proud to celebrate the launch of Boys & Girls Club of Uvalde earlier this month.

While the opening of a Boys & Girls Club is good news for any community, we recognize and appreciate the importance of having a safe space for children in Uvalde.

“We continue to acknowledge the tragedy that occurred, respect the sadness and pain felt in the Uvalde community, and honor those impacted,” said Jim Clark, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, upon the opening. “Our commitment to this community is to be a safe place for current and future generations of Uvalde youth, and we have been privileged to watch the strength that comes with community collaboration.”
