We had a blast incorporating social-emotional learning (SEL) elements into our science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) programming! The 5th and 6th graders at MLK Jr. Elementary School had a fantastic time in our video production class, reviewing different sensory toys: breathing balls, fidget spinners, Rubik’s Cubes, and pop tubes.

Sensory toys help reduce stress, develop motor skills, and regulate emotions and are used regularly at the Club when we have BIG feelings.
