Celebrating 25 Years of “Lights On Afterschool”

Lights On Afterschool is a project of the Afterschool Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to quality, affordable afterschool programs. Since 2000, Lights On Afterschool has been celebrated nationwide to call attention to the importance of afterschool programs for America’s children, families, and communities.

Our Club took part in one of the over 8,000 celebrations happening this month across the country. We did STEM experiments, painting projects, and even puppet-making with our youngest members. Afterschool programs provide safe spaces where creativity and learning come to life, and we’re proud to continue making a difference every day in Monmouth County.
