Asbury Park, NJ – January 13, 2025 – Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County (BGCM) is thrilled to announce that it has achieved its ambitious goal of raising $1 million for the 2024 Bright Futures Fund. This milestone ensures continued support for the Club’s vital programs, which provide Monmouth County’s youth with life-changing opportunities in education, workforce readiness, mental health support, and more.

“The Bright Futures Fund reflects our commitment to creating opportunities where none exist, turning critical after-school hours into a time of discovery, learning, and growth for kids who need it most,” said Douglas Eagles, CEO of BGCM. “Reaching this goal is a testament to the generosity of our community and the tireless efforts of our supporters.”

The campaign’s success was bolstered by three transformative challenge grants, generously issued by board member Nancy Karpf, long-time donor Bill Luby, and the Grunin Foundation. Jeremy Grunin, president of the Grunin Foundation and also a BGCM board member, remarked, “It’s inspiring to see how our community came together to ensure that every child has access to opportunities that can change their future.”

The Bright Futures Fund supports the Club’s trauma-informed care initiatives, STEM and arts programming, and mentorship and college readiness resources, transforming the lives of hundreds of children and teens across Monmouth County.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County extends its sincere gratitude to every donor, partner, and advocate who contributed to this campaign. As the Club looks to build on the Bright Futures Fund’s success in 2025, it remains steadfast in its mission to empower all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
