Throughout February, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County celebrated Black History Month with engaging and meaningful activities across our sites. It was a month filled with learning, reflection, and celebration as our members explored the rich history and contributions of Black leaders, artists, and changemakers.
One of the highlights was our Black History Wax Museum, where members brought historical figures to life, sharing their stories in a creative and interactive way. At our Black History Showcase, students proudly presented projects they had worked on throughout the month, showcasing their research and creativity. Other sites marked the occasion with community celebrations, shared meals, and a special performance from our dance team, making the month even more memorable.
We are so proud of our members for their dedication and enthusiasm in honoring Black history and excellence. Thank you to our amazing staff for creating such impactful experiences and to our community for celebrating with us!
