Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County to Honor Morgan Stanley and Crum & Forster at Great Futures Gala: Rock the Future

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County (BGCM) will celebrate its inaugural Great Futures Gala: Rock the Future on Saturday, October 25, at the Wave Resort in Long Branch. This year’s gala will be honoring two extraordinary partners with the Spotlight Award, Morgan Stanley and Crum & Forster, whose commitment to opportunity, equity, and community has profoundly impacted the lives of young people.

Morgan Stanley’s award will be accepted by Mandell Crawley, Executive Vice President and Chief Client Officer at Morgan Stanley and Boys & Girls Clubs of America Board Governor. A proud Boys & Girls Club alumnus himself, Crawley credits his own Club experience with instilling the poise, professionalism, and perseverance that shaped his successful career. Today, he pays that forward by championing initiatives that have reached thousands of Boys & Girls Club teens with mentorship, career preparation, and workforce readiness opportunities.

Gary McGeddy, President and head of Crum & Forster’s Accident & Health division, will accept the award on the company’s behalf. Under McGeddy’s leadership, Crum & Forster has grown significantly, while also deepening its philanthropic investment in the community. For more than a decade, McGeddy and his team have been among the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County’s most consistent champions—providing critical support for programming, operations, and special events, ensuring that children have the resources and opportunities they deserve.

“We’re proud to recognize Morgan Stanley and Crum & Forster for their extraordinary commitment to our mission,” said Douglas Eagles, CEO of BGCM. “Both organizations have invested generously and consistently in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County, ensuring that thousands of young people have access to safe spaces, caring mentors, and life-shaping opportunities. Their support has been instrumental in helping us build great futures for kids across Monmouth County.”

The Great Futures Gala is BGCM’s largest fundraising event of the year, bringing together supporters for an unforgettable evening of music, celebration, and purpose. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit life-shaping programs in academic success, workforce readiness, character development, and healthy lifestyles for more than 1,800 children and teens across Monmouth County.
