What is BGCM Text Connect?
Text Connect is an automated text (SMS) message service provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County and 24K Creative, a Division of Gold Group. Text messages will come from the shortcode 51684.
Why am I receiving these messages?
As a parent, guardian, donor or member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County, you may have been automatically onboarded into the text connect system in order to receive important information from the club. You may also have signed up directly at BGCMonmouth.org/text.
What kind of messages will I receive?
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County will be using Text Connect to inform parents, guardians, members, and donors of important news, upcoming events, and community alerts. The system may also be utilized for occasional sweepstakes or to announce weather-related closures.
Does this cost anything?
BGCM Text Connect utilizes text (SMS) messages in order to communicate. Message and data rates may apply in accordance with your mobile carrier rate plan. BGCM does not charge any additional fees.
How can I unsubscribe?
Reply STOP to any message in order to be removed from the program. You may also text STOP to 51684 at any time to end messages. If you have subscribed to one or more sub-categories of messages for specific club programs (i.e. Child Care, Teens, Summer Camp, etc) you may need to reply or text STOPALL in order to remove yourself from all categories. We highly recommend not unsubscribing as long as you are a BGCM member or are the parent/guardian of a BGCM member as you may miss important club information or alerts.
