Get Involved at the Club

Every year, we work with hundreds of volunteers to improve the lives of over 1,000 children and teens in Monmouth County. Become a volunteer and help Club members to realize their fullest potential.

“I really enjoyed being a part of what I think is a fantastic program and an excellent organization.”

Get Started Volunteering or Tutoring

Become a Tutor

College students and adults who are interested in tutoring and can commit to two meetings per week, one session at a time are encouraged to apply.

Successful tutors come from all different backgrounds but share a willingness and a commitment to working with children. Patience, preparation, and flexibility are key attributes of successful tutors.

A teaching background is not required, but tutors must be proficient in math and reading.

Each tutor will receive basic training and orientation and will be subject to a background check, including fingerprinting.

Fundraising for the Club

Tell your friends and family that instead of gifts this year, you want to give back. Your generosity will directly impact the lives of children in this community who desperately need a chance to learn, grow, and develop the healthy habits that will make them the next generation of leaders!

Dedicate your next race, birthday, or anniversary to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County and know that you are creating lasting change in the lives of our youth.
