TD Bank recently awarded the Club a generous grant to support our educational development programs, including Power Hour, Brain Gain, DIY STEM, and LEAP (Learn, Engage, Achieve, and reach their Potential), a new focused intervention designed to use the innate passions of children and empower them to learn outside of the classroom. With TD Bank’s support, we are strengthening the education and technology programs that form the foundation of our year-round core curriculum. Their investment helps ensure that more Club members stay on track academically, graduate from high school, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Another valued long-time partner, the Jules L. Plangere, Jr. Family Foundation, and a new partner, the Kroon Foundation, Inc., have signed on to help us launch the new LEAP program, which will close achievement gaps, spark curiosity, build confidence, and prepare the next generation for success in higher education, meaningful careers, and community leadership. Both foundations share our belief in the power of education to transform lives, and their commitment is helping us inspire the next generation of learners.
Apple’s Community Education Initiative has made a significant investment in the Club’s technology infrastructure through the donation of innovative technology, software, staff training, and implementation guidance. This partnership significantly expands our ability to deliver engaging, technology-enhanced learning experiences. By integrating advanced technology and STEAM programming into our academic initiatives, we are creating dynamic, hands-on learning environments that make math, literacy, coding, and creative media production both accessible and exciting. These opportunities help students stay engaged, build critical thinking skills, and gain confidence in their abilities, preparing them for future success in school, careers, and beyond.
