The heart of the Asbury Park Club is our gymnasium.

Since its construction in the 1950s, it has been used daily by our kids and the Asbury Park community for a wide variety of activities: basketball, tennis lessons, exercise, gymnastics, dancing, meetings, presentations, special events, and much more. After years of such thorough and continuous use, the gym began showing signs of wear and tear. In addition, the windows were beginning to leak, the heating system needed to be replaced, the absence of air conditioning had become unbearable, the scoreboard was beginning to fail, and the bleachers were over 50 years old!

Enter some very generous donors who recognized the need and stepped in to help. Thanks to the support of Bryan Casciano of PMC Wireless and the Jules L. Plangere, Jr. Family Foundation, the Club’s Asbury Park gym has been completely renovated. New windows have been put in, the heating system has been replaced, air conditioning has been installed, comfortable and safe new bleachers are in place, we have a new scoreboard, and the floor has been completely refinished to a wonderful shine.

We are grateful to Bryan Casciano, PMC Wireless, and the Jules L. Plangere, Jr. Family Foundation for providing our Club with a safe and very comfortable space that our kids, staff, and community members are proud of!
