Our club members from The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County recently had an unforgettable day at the Culinary Education Center in Asbury Park, where Chef Joe Zazzarino taught them the delicious art of making pasta and fresh mozzarella. This hands-on experience was not only about cooking but also about learning and showcasing their skills on “The Yummy Kitchen,” our student-led cooking show produced through our Y-Media program.

The Y-Media program teaches our members the ins and outs of digital video production and editing, covering everything from on-camera performance and interviewing skills to audio technology and camera operation. These activities are designed to help our members express themselves and build self-esteem while gaining practical skills in media production.

This special episode of “The Yummy Kitchen” features our young chefs putting their new culinary skills to the test while also practicing their media production talents. It’s a fantastic blend of learning and fun, and we’re excited to share this experience with you. Check out the episode on YouTube, and let us know what you think of our members’ culinary and production prowess!
