In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County teens spent the day giving back to their communities through meaningful service activities across multiple locations.

In Asbury Park, Club members assembled hygiene kits filled with essential items and handwritten affirmation cards, which were delivered to individuals at the Jersey Shore Adult Day Care Center. Later in the day, teens from Asbury Park and Long Branch visited Complete Care, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, where they shared time with residents by playing bingo and connecting through conversation and laughter.

Meanwhile, in Red Bank, Club members prepared bags of grocery items to donate to the Salvation Army, helping support families in need.

These service experiences reflect the Club’s ongoing commitment to developing compassionate, community-minded young people who understand the importance of giving back and making a positive impact where they live.
