I currently serve as a Program Director for the 21st Century Community Learning Center program, where I oversee the daily operations of the after-school program. My role includes managing staff, coordinating enrichment activities, supporting student development, and ensuring the program provides a safe and engaging environment for students to learn and grow beyond the school day.
My focus is on helping students build confidence in their daily lives by creating a supportive and engaging environment where they feel encouraged to express themselves, try new things, and develop leadership skills.
My favorite part of the job is watching students grow in confidence and leadership. I enjoy seeing them discover their strengths, work together as a team, and take pride in being involved in positive programs after school.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending community events, and finding new activities that allow me to relax and recharge.
I am inspired by the students I work with every day. Seeing their creativity, resilience, and willingness to learn motivates me to continue creating programs and opportunities that help them succeed.
