This past Tuesday, October 16th The American Culinary Federation Jersey Shore Chef’s Association was able to announce the 2012 Childhood Hunger Day Forum.  The state of NJ has shown recognition on proclaiming this day for everyone to help out on the issue of Hunger around the world, let alone our own communities. This forum took place at one of BGCM’S favorite places, the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties!  They provide the members of our clubs dinner every evening, and also education on healthy eating habits.  On Childhood Hunger Day, the other chapter chefs provided lunches using their newly created recipes that are made solely from USDA Commodities at our Asbury Park Unit.
