The area’s leading youth development nonprofit Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County (BGCM) is pleased to announce that several Eastern Monmouth County residents have been named as officers of the organization, while several others were named as new board members.
BGCM is pleased to announce the appointment of Janice Fuller as our new Board President in addition to new members of our board of directors.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County (BGCM) is celebrating its 85th anniversary year, and to commemorate its founding the organization has several events planned throughout the year that are focused on service and community.
Grants of $100,000 each were awarded to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County in collaboration with Food for Thought by the Sea, No Limits Café, Shore House and the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County has a new home in Long Branch. The Club offers afterschool care for children and creates a nurturing environment for kids.
The pandemic caused the club, which serves hundreds of children ages 5 to 18 each year, to overturn how it operates, expanding its hours, increasing its costs and reaching beyond their walls to help both children and adults in the community.
Springsteen will be the special guest in Asbury Park on June 18 at the Asbury Lanes concert to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Monmouth County. The venue reopened last month after major renovations.
The new lab features more than $20,000 worth of equipment, including new laptop computers, a smartboard, a television studio, tablet devices and a 3D printer.
