The Boys & Girls Club summer camp is not just about fun and games—it's also a valuable opportunity to prepare for the upcoming school year!
From painting and dance contests to trips and video production classes, our kids are having a blast.
We are so excited to announce that our newest Clubhouse has opened in Long Branch! In early May, the Club began offering our after-school programs to children ages 5 to 13 at the Bucky James Community Center on Wilbur Ave.
Since its construction in the 1950s the heart of the Asbury Park Club has been our gymnasium. After all these years of thorough and continuous use, the gym has seen some upgrades thanks to the support of some very generous donors.
This summer, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County saw record-breaking enrollment of over 400 kids across all of our locations. Thanks to the generosity of the Jules L. Plangere, Jr. Family Foundation, 240 of our campers received full scholarships!
The Club had record-breaking enrollment at our summer camps in Asbury Park, Neptune, Red Bank, and Long Branch.
We just wrapped up another awesome year of after-school programming and are ready for summer camp!
At the end of the Summer, we asked our members to tell us some of the things they learned during camp. The vast majority reported that they learned how to swim.
Friday was the final day of summer camp! We have loved watching these awesome kids learn, play, and laugh together these last eight weeks!
