Club Spotlights

Tylik has been a member of our Asbury Park Unit since he was 5 years old. Last year, he enrolled in our teen employment and empowerment program, Project L.E.A.D., and transitioned from Club member to staff member. This spring, he was awarded the title of “Youth of the Year,” the Club’s premier leadership and recognition program for teens. The following is an excerpt from the essay he submitted as part of that competition.

Fair Haven resident Nancy Karpf not only understands the power behind giving back to one’s community, but also recognizes the value of supporting underfunded neighborhoods.

Since its construction in the 1950s the heart of the Asbury Park Club has been our gymnasium. After all these years of thorough and continuous use, the gym has seen some upgrades thanks to the support of some very generous donors.

Save the date for our signature fundraiser and party of the year! A Most Unusual Evening is coming back to the Asbury Lanes on October 1, 2022.

Ms. Sandy has been volunteering at the Red Bank Unit for several months, providing crucial support to our Club members during our "Power Hour" homework help program.
